Neglect and injuries due to abuse. At intake he seemed very depressed, not playing and stayed in one place most of the day. His fur was sparse, and he needed meds for intestinal distress.
Encore experienced neglect and injuries due to abuse. He’s going to take a while to bring to full health but responds to his foster mom. A Groomer was engaged to give Encore a natural medical bath and overall brushing and grooming. Once Encore was fully groomed, he felt much better. Encore will receive all the time and care he requires to recover to full health. His outlook is hopeful and improving all the time!

I’m so glad you stopped by to visit! I’m older and wiser than most in Rescue at FURPA.org, and I was not in a very happy situation for far too long. Thankfully, good-hearted souls at FURPA.org took me in when I had lost all hope of happiness, much less survival. Now I feel pretty good!
