Domestic LONGhair

Primrose

0056-Primrose

Type: Domestic Longthair

Age: 05/15/2024

Sex: Female

Size: Small

Color: Black with Green Eyes

House Trained: Yes

Health: Excellent, Vaccinated, Spayed

Shelter Association: Not Listed

Her overall condition (at intake) is poor. She arrived to us lethargic with diarrhea on her hind end and tail. Primrose was provided with supportive care and showed to have a good appetite. On 5/26, staff observed cloudy urine under her litterbox. Our Veterinary Team suspects UTI vs. other bodily fluids (vomit, diarrhea) vs. other. She can go to rescue now.

Update:
Primrose was promoted a few days ago; she has not had any interest. In the last few days, Primrose has been lethargic, and her diarrhea has worsened. She has vomited in her kennel, does not want to eat, and has lost weight. She has been tested for parvo and is negative. She is still social and will come up for pets, but her meows are very weak and faint in sound. She is not doing well and will need further diagnostics than we can run here at the shelter to determine the best treatment plan.

Primrose was facing euthanasia, with a general malaise and digestive problems

Hi Future Owner!

I have five kiddos who need good homes. They’re growing like weeds and I need a home, too. We are all in good hands now waiting for our forever adoptive homes. Don’t worry, we can be split up. (giggles – That would be a ton of supplies each month.)

Love, cali
