Dorian is the sweetest kitty. Although he had a severely fractured leg when he came into the shelter, he purred and was very loving. Although he was apparently less receptive to the vet, we hope a successful surgery will even have him purring again for his surgeon.

Dorian managed to survive injuries and receive enough public attention to garner donations necessary to pay for his life-saving surgery. Dorian was picked up after surgery on 7-29-2024 and taken into follow up care at FURPA!

How did you find out about FURPA?
Have You Fostered Before?
Do you have experience with bottle babies?
Are you able to administer basic medications?

Can you keep foster separate or isolate if needed?
Do you have transport to pick up and bring for vet appointments?
Considering we are a non profit and run purely on donations, not including veterinary care, would you provide supplies or rescue?
I understand that if my foster ends with a desire to adopt, I will complete the required, adoption application and pay an adoption fee.
I understand that any medical treatment is responsibility of the rescue and must be done through the Rescue / Vet Partnership in place. I also understand that I may be responsible for any medical expense if I take pet to another facility without proper authorization from the Board of FURPA - Friends Under Rescue Pet Adoption Inc.
I certify that all of the above information is true and accurate regarding my abilities and situation as a Foster Parent to Rescued Pets. I also understand that this is a voluntary service I am offering for FURPA – Friends Under Rescue Pet Adoption Inc., and all parties involved will not be held responsible or liable for any injuries that may occur during my foster service. Due to the nature of pets being scared and of an unknown background, they may act out of fear and potentially scratch or bite.

Hi Future Owner!

I have five kiddos who need good homes. They’re growing like weeds and I need a home, too. We are all in good hands now waiting for our forever adoptive homes. Don’t worry, we can be split up. (giggles – That would be a ton of supplies each month.)

Love, cali
