Domestic Shorthair

Anton

0109-Anton

YType: Domestic Shorthair

Age: 03/22/2024

Sex: Male

Size: Small

Color: Grey Stripped

House Trained: Yes

Health: Neutered

Shelter Association: Not Listed

Anton arrived at the shelter in rough shape. He was lethargic and had wounds
consistent with being hit by a car. His jaw was fractured in two places, and he had a
dislocation. He was weaker on his left front leg but can move around. He had
emergency surgery to wire his jaw, however, he will need continued care. He is
interested in eating, but he is still lethargic and has some swelling. He will allow some handling; however, he is not very sociable. He will try to hide in his kennel and will freeze if he does not have anywhere to go; he is evasive and tense when he sees staff approaching.

As of 8-15-2024, he’s the most affectionate little guy and tiny little thing! He needs
someone who can continue to monitor him, ensure he is eating well and enough, and
who can help him out of his shell as he continues to heal. Please let us know if you can help Anton either through his adoption or with your charitable donations to his medical costs.

Before the shelter received Anton, he was possibly hit by a car, had 2 fractures in his jaw and a dislocation. Despite all that adversity, Anton was known to be loving and
affectionate. Now that he has been treated medically and all healed up, he will soon be ready for a new forever home and his second chance at the wonderful life he deserves.

Hi Future Owner!

I have five kiddos who need good homes. They’re growing like weeds and I need a home, too. We are all in good hands now waiting for our forever adoptive homes. Don’t worry, we can be split up. (giggles – That would be a ton of supplies each month.)

Love, cali
