Lucy and her two kittens were on the euthanasia list at a local shelter when rescued. Lucy possibly had three kittens but was found with two little survivors. They appear to be about three weeks of age at intake and in good condition.

At first, the caregivers had to keep a distance from the two kittens because Lucy was quite protective. We believe once they are more trusting of their caregivers, they’ll be less shy and warm up to human interaction.
